Shooting For Rabbit Control And Eradication
For our rabbit control we do tend to stick to our ferreting; but this isn't always possible..
When it comes to gorse bushes and hedges it's not always possible to control the numbers using ferreting; this is when our other rabbit control methods come in.

Shooting is a brilliant rabbit control method but unfortunately doesn't deliver the same effect as ferreting, when we ferret we are in the warrens or sets allowing use to clear all the holes, removing all the rabbits from the sets/warrens which proves to be the most effective control method.

When we shoot we can only cover the rabbits that are outside the gorse and bushes; normally in the early morning or as the sun sets; when the rabbits are most active.
What guns do we use for our rabbit control?
When shooting rabbits we believe for most cases all you need is a air rifle .177 or .22 but this isn't always the case, in some cases where long distance shooting is required the big rifles (.22 and .223) may need to come out but this is very rare. All our team members are special trained to handle and shoot a air rifle in order to deliver an expounding shot.
Shooting rabbits at night
Shooting rabbits at night is either done by lamping the rabbits with a high powered lamp or using a night scope attached to our guns. This method is done under night fall. all our guns have silencers, and produce very little noise. All air rifles are under legal requirements and are serviced and maintained to the highest standard. All rifles are fitted with high quality telescopic sights as well as sound moderators. All staff are thoroughly trained in safety and marksmanship.
